Hellebore & Berries Artificial Arrangement

Hellebores are an underrated flower. Their open, cup-shaped white petals with soft green centres have a quiet elegance that most people can't quite place when they see them.

Also known as the Christmas rose, they bloom in the coldest months when almost nothing else does, which makes them unusual to find in any arrangement, let alone a faux one.

Four hellebore stems carry the piece, their faces turning outward at different angles, the way the real flower naturally grows. Snowberry branches sit between them with clusters of small cream berries that match the hellebore tones exactly.

Eucalyptus brings its rounded green leaves and fills the body of the arrangement, while Queen Anne's lace adds flat, delicate heads of tiny white buds that soften the top.

Only four stem types, and that restraint is what makes it look so considered. There's nothing in here competing for attention. At 65cm, in a round ceramic vase, it reads as something a knowledgeable florist put together.

Hellebores are expensive to buy fresh and notoriously short-lived once cut. This arrangement keeps their best qualities without any of the usual compromises.
